We create all our rugs from 5 mm polyester cord with a core. In very rare cases on a special request of the client, we also use a 3 or 4 mm cord, but from a thin cord without a core, the rugs are less dense and smaller in size.

Polyester cord is an ideal material specially designed for creating rugs, poufs, baskets, bags, and more. It is pleasant to the touch, hypoallergenic, non-toxic, does not fade in the sun, holds the shape perfectly, washable, does not create static electricity.

By the way, the rugs can be washed many times even in the washing machine and they will retain their shape and will not fade.

The color palette is divided into several types of cord:
– basic colors
– shiny colors
– with lurex
– examples of two-color mixes (you can mix any 2 colors from the main color scheme with each other)
– examples of gradient (five-step transition from one color to another).

Note: You cannot mix different types of cord in the same rug (for example, shiny and lurex, or basic and shiny). These cords are different in structure and density and this will be very noticeable in the finished product.
